Gary Donihoo

Born and raised in Dallas, Gary Donihoo began taking pictures at age 10 and honed his skills as a photo-documentarian during the 1980’s (even when  documentary photography wasn’t cool). Rarely without a camera, Gary’s photo archive numbers over a million digital files and negatives. Using his skills as a  storyteller, Gary photographs each bride and groom with humor, sensitivity, and a unique artistic sensibility. Although Gary and his team frequently document  some of the nation’s most exclusive weddings, he also loves small, intimate backyard affairs. An avid outdoorsman, Gary travels extensively to pursue his passion for journalistic photography. While not traveling, he lives in McKinney, Texas, with his wife Rachel, and their two children.

Gary was honored to be part of f8studio’s selection as one of the Top Ten Wedding Photographers in the World by American Photo magazine.
